Yahoo Site Explorer now showing link data from Bing

A colleague and friend, Julie Cheung showed me some odd results in Yahoo’s site explorer this morning – The number of backlinks are shown to be very low for all sites (including the most popular ones out their such as apple.com) For example: This seems to be caused by the Merge with Bing and using Bing’s results. Performing the same query in Bing returns the same number of backlinks (188 in this case): So if this remains thus, Open Site Explorer is you next best tool.
